luckily --no injuries were reported in the crash. antother crash not necessarily weather related involving a semi and a train in nashua. you can see some of the damage here. police believe the semi driver didn't see the oncoming train before being struck. the semi driver and the conductor of the train were both taken to the hopsital with minor injuries. an emotional day in the courtroom this morning with the mother of emily fazzino taking the stand. emily was found dead in her home in boone in january of 2012. her husband alexander fazzino is accused of murdering emily, who is the daughter of the chairman of the board for fareway stores. kwwl's brad hanson has been following this case for us and brings us the latest from by the defense of alex fazzino, as they called emily's mother, cindy beckwith one not a direct relative or longtime friend of alex fazzino. a majority of her testimony centered on a four day detox period emily underwent in the beckwith home. the defense critical of beckwith for not seeking more

(cindy beckwith, emily fazzino's mother) "we felt like we had been successful. she came down and ate with us, or in-patient, and it was not her desire. it was not my choice. that's how she wanted to handle it." many on the stand describing emily in the weeks and months leading to her death. shannon mcintosh, a friend of the fazzino's, says she saw emily struggle to finish sentences and even dress her own child. (shannon mcintosh, alex fazzino's friend)"my concern was that she was obviously unable to take care of her child at that time. and as a nurse practicioner, that is something i would have to report to dfs." but beckwith says in roughly month and a half between her detox and death, emily was a much different person. and she also left no doubt about how she feels about this case. waterloo. the plea deal lowering his initial charge of first degree murder to second degree. his sentencing date is set for may 20th. multiple buildings in one area community vandalized -- and police are still trying to track those involved. you can see some of the writing here on a school in lisbon. police say it could be seen from highway 30 -- and two area city officials say many people in the city were at the state wrestling tournament when the vandalism happened. the d and d body also says they had the initial d-b-z- painted on their nearly new garage door. the bank down the street was another victim of the vandals. but most of the damage was done (cg: ian dye/ lisbon secondary school principal) "it's dissapointing anytime you have somebody that in frusteration would damage sentament was as part of that vandalism is not really representative of the group of people we have here at lisbon who are very excited and proud of their school." he says they plan to use this as an

a grand jury report revealing two roman catholic priests helped cover up the sexual abuse of hundreds of children by more than 50 priests over a 40 year period. the report points to catholic priests in pennsylvania allegedly lying about the gospel, getting children drunk and even hypnotizing them

the state attorney general's office says some of the allegations are as extreme as : "they were thrust into an adult world that is unimaginable. they weren't out playing baseball. they were trying to avoid priests." the accused priests and bishops are dead -- and the survivors do charges presented. too many years have also passed under the law to bring the charges. several children are hospitalized after taking pills brought to school by other kids. authorities say seven elementary students in the phoenix area took the pills -- and six are being treated at an area hospital. investigators are still working to identify what kind of pills the students took -- but say they were brough to the school by two sick students. self-driving cars seem to be imminent -- but not everyone is on board with the idea. in fact -- 75 percent of drivers
